Your mobile phone can’t provide you with a sound powerful enough? You’re afraid of using it near water? According to Sony Ericsson, you need “the first outdoor Bluetooth speaker”, the MS-500. It’s compact (113 x 83 x 45 mm), light (155 grams with two AA batteries) and splash proof. Available in two color schemes - black with orange and white with pink, it comes with a strap, allowing you to attach it to a bag or hang it from your wrist. The manufacturer claims that the 2W speaker can provide a clear sound with rich bass. In addition, it should be able to play for 5 hours with fully charged batteries, which we consider a pretty weak result. We are disappointed, because the speaker doesn’t have built-in controls and you can only control it with your phone. Still, the interesting design and fresh colors will definitely attract the young customers, at which Sony Ericsson aims. Currently, there is no information about when it will hit the stores and at what price.
